What is Counselling
Counselling is a non judgemental, caring and confidential approach which is able to assist you to work through a range of limiting or distressing issues and concerns. Counselling is a collaborative process in which you discuss your concerns, problems and current challenges. At Aspire we aim to assist you to gain deeper insight, and to identify options and solutions that will enable you to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life. Counselling is not about analysing you, it is about you gaining greater insight into yourself, the challenges you are facing, how you would like things to be and the ways to bring about those changes.

We utilise a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused, person centred therapy, gestalt, psychodrama and psychodynamic.
Hours
Our Counselling service operates Monday to Saturday through out the day. After hours appointments are available on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. All bookings are by appointment.
Medicare Rebate
Medicare provides a $81.60 refund per counselling session for 12 sessions a year for people who qualify under the Mental Health scheme. In order to qualify please call us to discuss an appropriate Psychologist for you to see. You will then need to arrange a double appointment (30 min) with your regular doctor where you will be assessed, and referred to the Psychologist of your choice.
Cost
Sessions go for 55 minutes and cost $120 for individuals and $140 for couples. (If eligible, Medicare provide a $81.60 rebate for 12 sessions)
