Lin is a Mental Health Social Worker who has trained in Family Therapy and is completing her psychology internship. Lin works from a person-centred perspective and uses a collaborative approach with clients. Lin establishes a positive engagement to promote and support change towards client’s identified outcomes. Lin values people’s uniqueness and acknowledges client strengths that are pre-existing and that can be built upon.
Lin often uses a range of approaches including a systemic perspective and holds an understanding of the importance of relationships. Lin provides a supportive approach that enables exploration and reflection during counselling. Lin works from a variety of perspectives including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness approaches.
Lin has worked in health, mental health, and community settings for a number of years.
Lin is available on Saturdays, and after-hours week day sessions by arrangement.
