Sees Adults
Azra is a Counselling Psychologist. Her goal is to provide a space for clients to process their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. She listens deeply and gives insights and suggestions when needed. Azra also helps her clients explore long-standing patterns, defences, and dynamics. The hope for the work is for her clients to feel more fulfilled, less alone, and able to consider meaningful change.

Azra has been a Registered Psychologist since 2010. She has worked in job services, universities and private practice. She has been at Aspire Health and Psychology since 2015.

She has provided support to adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, conflict, trauma, eating concerns, academic performance concerns, unemployment, loss and grief, stress, loss of motivation and many other life challenges. She uses a range of interventions to support her clients, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy as well as Somatic Experiencing. Azra endeavours to provide a non-judgemental, empathetic space for the people who see her.
