Jenny Nguyen – Provisional Psychologist

Jenny is a warm, empathetic, and client-centred Provisional Psychologist who strives to make therapy as engaging, welcoming, and safe - especially for "first timers" - as she can understand how daunting and vulnerable it can seem. Jenny has a breadth of experience from supporting children and adolescents with complex trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression in school settings, to middle-aged adults presenting with ADHD/SLD, panic attacks and difficulties with life adjustment in private practice.
She endeavours to tailor every therapeutic space and experience to best-match each unique person, by drawing from a diverse range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and distress tolerance strategies. She strongly believes that everyone deserves a chance at therapy to build resilience, self-efficacy, and skills, to make meaningful changes and live a life accordingly to one's intrinsic values.
